GMM Container AS (Gjøvik Maskinering og Montasje Container AS) started production and sales of containers and container related products in Gjøvik Norway in 1989. The following years GMM established production in Poland, Ukraine and the Baltic states. Sales was primary in the Norwegian market. The company grew throughout the 90's, and in 1999 an equivalent company was founded in Sweden.

Today GMM Container AS is based at Moelv Norway. The location holds about 18000 square meters of buildings. The facilities include large storage areas, workshop, a modern painting box, and sales/administration offices. In Trondheim the company has a regional sales office and storage space.

GMM Sweden headquarters in Vara includes large storage space, modern painting box, workshop and sales/administration offices. In total about 12500 square meters. At Stockholm free docks GMM Sweden is represented with a regional sales office.

In 2007 the Gävle based container producer Låångs Industrier AB was acquired, the company has over 40 years of experience from container production.

GMM Poland is centrally located in Walsz. The factory produces high quality containers in large numbers. The company also has several experienced engineers who work on product development, construction and control of production. As well as a sales office trading in the Polish and European market.

Large stock for delivery on short notice
We know the business world is always changing, and new tasks must be dealt with on short notice. As a consequence of this GMM always has on stock about 1500 of our most sold products. This means that we can deliver on short notice, so that our customers can serve their obligations.
